Vineyard
The Burg Layer vineyards, in the immediate vicinity of the estate, are characterised by the great diversity of soils that is so special to the Nahe region.
Selective harvesting in several stages and gentle pressing of the grapes followed by six months of ageing on the fine lees.
Characteristics
Fine primary aromas of elderflower, apple, and grapefruit in the bouquet and on the palate. A typical Pinot Blanc that convinces with its very successful combination of fine fruity aromas and harmonious acidity.
Food recommendation
A suitable wine for fish and veal dishes, tastes wonderful with Vitello Tonnato.
