Vineyard
The Burg Layer vineyards, in the immediate vicinity of the estate, are characterised by the great diversity of soils that is so special to the Nahe region.
Selective harvesting in several stages and gentle pressing of the grapes followed by six months of ageing on the fine lees.
Characteristics
A very aromatic Riesling with notes of green apple, citrus fruits and peach. A typical Riesling with a mineral note and elegant acid structure.
Food recommendation
A perfect wine for the classic fish dish trout à la meunière.
