Our vineyards in Münster-Sarmsheim are hillside and steep slopes. The Nahe influences the microclimate.
Selective harvesting in several stages and gentle pressing of the grapes followed by six months of storage on the fine lees.
Characteristics
The Pinot Gris presents fruity notes of pear, quince and apricot. In addition, floral notes of jasmine can be detected. The fruit is complemented by a light minerality and a lot of melting. A harmonious, elegant and at the same time powerful Pinot Gris.
Food pairing
A wonderful wine to accompany pasta dishes with seafood – Spaghetti alle vongole is our special recommendation.
