BURG LAYER RIESLING
VINEYARD AND VINICULTURE
The Burg Layer vineyards in the immediate vicinity of the parent estate are characterised by the great diversity of soils that is so special to the Nahe region.
Selective harvesting in several stages and gentle pressing of the grapes followed by six months of storage.
CHARACTERISTIC
This Riesling is characterised by its impressive minerality and tangy acidity, which invigorates the palate. The aromas of ripe vineyard peach, juicy lemon and refreshing lemon balm dominate the bouquet. Subtle notes of lime and mint elegantly round off the flavour profile. The wine is fresh, lively and sparkling, with an elegant structure.
