Dorsheimer Pittermännchen – the south-facing vineyard, situated at an altitude of 160 to 210 metres, is one of our steepest sites with a gradient of 40% to 55%.
The skeleton-rich soil with components of slate, quartzite and gravelly-sandy loam forms an ideal terroir for great Riesling with plenty of ripening potential.
