The Burg Layer vineyards in the immediate vicinity of the parent company are characterised by the great diversity of soils that is so special to the Nahe region.
The grapes are selectively harvested in several stages and gently pressed, followed by six months of ageing on the fine lees.
This Pinot Blanc impresses with aromas of juicy pineapple and fresh grapefruit. Delicate violet notes lend it additional aromatic elegance. Its fruity, velvety mouthfeel meets a fine balance that ensures an animating and harmonious taste experience.
Ideal with roasted pike-perch fillet with lemon butter and young peas. Also excellent with a quiche with leek and goat’s cheese or a light couscous salad with roasted vegetables.
