The Burg Layer vineyards in the immediate vicinity of the parent estate are characterised by the great diversity of soils that is so special to the Nahe region.
Selective harvesting in several stages and gentle pressing of the grapes followed by six months of storage on the fine lees.
Characteristics
Fruity aromas of pineapple and apricot paired with more subtle notes of quince can be discovered in this Pinot Blanc. A very juicy and lively wine with a melting texture that encourages enjoyment even without food.
Food pairing
This Pinot Blanc is also a wonderful companion to a creamy salmon pasta.
