The Burg Layer vineyards in the immediate vicinity of the parent company are characterised by the great diversity of soils that is so special to the Nahe region.
The grapes are selectively harvested in several stages and gently pressed, followed by six months of ageing on the fine lees.
This Pinot Blanc shows ripe pears as its primary flavour, accompanied by delicate almond and violet notes. With its elegant and fruity character as well as a creamy and very pleasing mouthfeel, this wine offers an enjoyable experience.
We recommend green asparagus with parmesan and Prosciutto di San Daniele with this wine. A great accompaniment to light-coloured meat dishes such as corn-fed poulard with spring vegetables.
