Bingerbrücker Römerberg – the view of the Nahe estuary is as impressive as the terroir of the vineyard. On a total of 6.83 hectares, the heat-retaining soil provides optimal conditions. North-west exposure at an altitude of 150 to 185 m with a slope of 5 to 40%.
After spontaneous fermentation – i.e. the fermentation process took place without the addition of pure yeasts – in two large barrels, the wine matured for another 10 months in oak barrels. This natural process, the long contact with fine yeast and wood as well as the time to mature allow for a special aroma. This is initially characterised by a hint of vanilla, followed by delicate herbal notes. Then the wine opens up and shows its fine fruity aroma of ripe peach and juicy apricot. Further facets develop with exotic mango aromas and lively citrus notes. A unique minerality and the pithy acidity characterise a lasting taste. A complex and expressive wine that offers excellent ageing potential.
