Orange Wine
2021
A full-bodied and complex wine with a lot of substance and a long, lasting finish.

In mid-October, the ripe grapes, this year mainly Chardonnay, were harvested and a spontaneous maceration of the grapes took place, as it is done with a red wine. The maceration time releases additional aromas and colouring substances from the skins, which give the wine its special colour.
The wine was aged and matured on the fine lees for six months, partly in stainless steel tanks, in large oak barrels and in barriques.
In the glass, the wine shines amber yellow with orange reflections. The bouquet shows ripe aromas of apple and pear, subtly underlined by orange zest. The fruity aromas are complemented on the palate by elegant tannin notes. A full-bodied and complex wine with a lot of substance and a long, lasting finish.
The Orange Wine goes perfectly with fish dishes and seafood, a bouillabaisse is our special recommendation.
